They were in a C6 'Vette on the way home tonight...I was cruising home on I70 when I saw some blue headlights and then...WHOOOOOOOSH...car moved about 2 feet to the right when this damned silver 'Vette nearly took my doors off and I was goin' about 75 or so and he passed me like I was sitting still.
To shorten the story I met the old guy at the QuikTrip about 10 miles later or so. Got to talkin' to him and he told me it put down 565 WHP on the dyno...Procharged...kinda thought to myself that they would make alot more than 565 but w/e...so we leave and we get back out onto the highway...get to about 20-30 and I lay into a second before he did. We were about even until 70-80 and he started pulling...by 100 there was a car length or 2...he then kicked on the brakes...
I just want a vote here I think he was BS-ing me or he wasn't goin' WOT...b/c I have ran a stock '04 Z06 before and it completely destroyed me.
Anywho...continuing my trip home (btw I was about 40-50 miles from home lol) I passed a 645 BMW on a HWY curve. He swooped in behind me and I was like wtf...so I flogged it...around 70 mph or so...around 100-110 this thing started to pass me and I was likeWe pulled off the highway and he rolled down his window and he yelled over "you gots some s**t done that that thing dontcha?" I replied "Yup...justa V6 too"
I asked him what was in it and he said back "Scheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet...it's a V10"
I LOL'ed and rolled up my window...
Got home and googled that bish and sure enough they are lol
All in all I said the 'ol GTP did pretty good
