things i lost to. turbo lexus sc 430, lots of cameros, trans am's and gto's. saleen mustang. supra.
yea pretty much all nasty cars. 12's and under. supra was 8.8 and lots of 10 sec ls1s

must say i was a little disapointed with my times. i was hoping for better. i was hoping to crack 13's but not to shabby tho.

more mods to come tho :p

Hey don't feel bad I'll probley run in the 16-17 sec range when I take my car out in two weeks.:D

haha. yea that does make me feel a little better.

nah the car did very well tho i must say. that is the first time i have been to the track with a FWd car and it did quite well. it hooked very good off the line. i actually pulled 90% of the cars i raced off the line. i just dident have the long end umfff. very happy with it tho to say the least.

Couple questions... Did you remove the spare and take out the drivers side headlight? Was this the fist time you have been to the track?

It took me awhile to learn to launch. Practice alone will bring down your times.

spare tire was still in. i dident take anything out of the car. it was full weight plus some with my speakers and other stuff. deff could have used some weight reduction. and yes the headlight was out. and yes it was my first time to the track. i do think with some practice that time would come down a litle but i was cutting a 2.1 with street tires and i dont know if i can get much lower than that but im sure i could.

i watched a video of one of my runs and i roll out very VERY slow, like a grandma pulling out of a redlight but by like 5 feet out i had it floored. i think if i could just jump hard off the line i could bring the times down some. but like you said i need more practice.

14.6 is not bad at all for just an intake

Playing with the tire pressure can help, extra weight loss would definitely help. A 3.6 pulley and race gas is possible, but I can see you like to race in street form, same as me.

When racing on street tires, drive around the water box and just give a quick burnout to clean off the tires. Then either launch by holding the brake and gas or what some like to do is just launch it at idle.

yes street form deff. i like to know what my car runs as is. not what it COULD do.

and yea thats how i would do it. drive around the water box. do a litle burn out. spin the tires over a couple of times. then i would stage up as far back as possible in the lights. like just light the lights up so when it turned green i could have a rolling start. and i would stage up a little holding the brake and then rolling into the throttle when i take off. worked pretty good that way. i dead hooked most of the time except with the exception of trying to stage to hard and spining off the line. i got to excited.

im going back in november and i hope to have headers (ones that actually fit-pacesetters wont fit on my 04) pulley and pcm-tune. maybe some good dr's or so and im hopeing for 13's
