• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Zzp top dawggg!!!

^ its a requirement for vehicles that reach a certain time and speed. same as a roll cage. once they reach that point without it they would not be aloud to run without it. its the rules.

It's seriously a requirement for FWD cars too? Huh well anyway it serves a purpose too, it limits the weight shift to the rear thus providing more traction for the front tires.

Actually, most FWDs with wheelie bars use them to lightly lift the rear wheels so a lot more pressure is sitting on the front wheels.

By NHRA and IHRA im not aware of any "rules" that your car at any speed should have a wheelie bar. The only rules im aware of is for roll cages and parachutes. But as far as wheelie bars IMO its more of a preference. Going to Memphis I see cars that are running mid 7's at 170-180mph and they dont have a wheelie bar. But my car will NEVER be that fast so I don't have to worry about any of that stuff! lol.

You go to Memphis Motorsports Park? I used to go all the time (not in the Impala) when I lived there a couple years ago. I still come back to visit a half dozen times a year. :)

you can go that fast... you just have to make up your mind, not listen to what anyone else says, and do it. Never look back
