zzp SSm90 s/c gasket known issues?

Hey in the next week or so, a guy from this forum is gona help me do my ss90 install. He told me that he had issues with his ZZP s/c gasket that came with the ssm90 install kit and recommended that I buy an OEM one from the dealer. He said it was giving him vacuum leaks and once he put the OEM one in it was fine. Could he of maybe got a faulty gasket or something? Should i be fine or would you guys think i should get a new OEM one? thanks.;

Buy your gaskets from GM. Honestly...if you haven't done it yet...I'd do the LIM gaskets too...buy them from GM also.
 
Garleaks are nicknamed that for a reason. If you want to have a leak...buy a gasket from ZZP.

LIM's either the fel pro aluminum ones or GM dealer only.
SC.. if it's not IC'd I'd buy Fel Pro only because of price
TB... same as SC
Coolant elbows are Dorman 47065 and lower cost than GM
 


Ok thanks for the info guys, i will go buy the gm s/c gasket. I have the LIM gasket from zzp but its that aluminum one
