• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

The blower outlet ports are different on the Gen. III and the Gen. V, that said yes a Gen. V blower will fit on a Gen. III SSIC but it is liable to have a vacuum/boost leak and probably lose a couple HP from not being aligned properly. You would be better off selling the kit and buying a Gen. V IC kit.

Re: ZZP SSIC Intercooler Question Gen3/5 fitment.

Just keep the GenIII and run a smaller pulley.

Be smart, and love the whine.

:D

Re: ZZP SSIC Intercooler Question Gen3/5 fitment.

I only have the V lol Ill make it work If I don't like it Ill just order a new core next month and try selling the gen3 core to make up some of the cost.

Re: ZZP SSIC Intercooler Question Gen3/5 fitment.

Do it right first or don't do it at all.

Trust me on this one.

Re: ZZP SSIC Intercooler Question Gen3/5 fitment.

you will like that genV on a genIII core just fine... trust me...

Re: ZZP SSIC Intercooler Question Gen3/5 fitment.

pretty sure you cant... but you can just cut your stock fuel rails (some say it isn safe but its fine...) to make it fit while you save for some fuel logs...which you will end up wanting I promise....

Re: ZZP SSIC Intercooler Question Gen3/5 fitment.

Allll right I was searching around the forum and read that you can cut and mod your own rails? Cant find exactly what needs to be done.

OK I think I get the mod now. You cut them where it connects the front and the back and add a fuel line there to kinda make your own logs. I have a friend that welds I but he could make something for me.

Re: ZZP SSIC Intercooler Bolts Question

Trying to figure out what the bolts are for. I figure all the bolts for the blower are on the Left side and the three 10mm with the round spacer things are for the fuel rails which means I am missing one and will have to figure something out for that.
