• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

ZZP S2 Core

Does anybody know what the core from the S2 intercooler is? My fins are a little bent up and one of the inlet/outlets are cut for some reason. The seem to want an awful lot for a replacement core which just looks like a heater core... Thanks

Yeah I read about that but as far as I am aware that is the old style core and the one now listed on their website is an improved design. Perhaps someone will chime in and clear this all up

It took me about 2 weeks to track down the ZZP core, but every cataloug and internet source had nothing that matched the one they sell.

But if you reverse image search the pic of their core it will lead you to the supplier in ch-eye-na. Min 50 per order and if I thought I could pedal enough to cover the cost I'd probably make the order. But it seems to be a hard sell in this community sometimes, as it is I still have a few N* to GenV adaptors from the batch I had made up. Beautifully CNC'd but most of us are still using the old Gen3 it seems.

But if your core isn't leaking you can always use a fin comb to staighten them out, and many do cut down the necks for hose clearance around the alt etc. And the pressure in the IC system is usually around 5psi or less so a leak is not very likely unless you really wigger rig the connections. I usually just use the sping clamps that come factory on most late model GM's.

Thank you for the info, might go through a few catalogs and try to find a similar one. What are you asking for the N* to Gen V?

Personally I run my TB upside down as its cleaner looking with more hood clearance, L26/L32 has a square bolt pattern.
