zzp pcm failed so im swaping to a gtp pcm

If I'm correct I can swap to a gtp pcm and all I have to mod is my map.
I have a 98 gt ss m90 kit.

When I wire the new in do I have to wire it to my stock wires or do I have to run **** to the pcm??
