ZZP MLS headgasket?

Has anyone had issues with ZZP MLS headgaskets? I replaced it and everything went together smooth besides the stupid ARP studs hitting the headers. I am getting exhaust fumes/carbon in my coolant shortly after putting it on. I poured a bottle of Blue Devil in and it helped but took out a new water pump. (I hate using crap like that) I just put the car in my garage until I figure out what I want to do.

I went with felpro head gaskets and studs and havent had any issues. i'm running a lot more boost than you too.

The car I have has had ZZP MLS gaskets on it for about 12,000 miles. Done by a previous owner and I'm really not sure why since the car doesn't see more than 14 lbs of boost. Unless your looking for a thinner gasket to change the quench or looking to up your compression MLS gaskets are just a waste of time and money until your running boost in the 20 psi range. <--- Just my opinion. Others may disagree.

Also you may already know this but when you go from an composite gasket to an MLS gasket you have to have the head and block resurfaced to ensure you don't have issues. You can sometimes get away with not doing that but it's not recommend. A good machine shop will ask you what type of gasket you are running because the surface finish is actually supposed to be different for an MLS than a Composite
