I was getting my emissions done the other day and the tech told me that if you dont drive your car every 3 months the pcm will reset. I got a zzp 1.0 pcm about 3.5 years ago, but some events happened where i had to let my ride sit for about 2 years waiting on me to come home. It started up after two years like instantly,I changed the oil, checked my fluids and drove to get the smog checked. It passed with flying colors. Is there any truth to this pcm resetting, should i have it flashed again or what. It seems like my shifting is still at the zzp setting, and the boost feels up to par but i cant tell after 2 years. Its sad i know, but any one familiar with this please chime in.
