YT 1.95's and L76 springs

I recently picked up a set of YT 1.95's and was planning to use ls6 springs/retainers until i read they are so hard on the timing chain dampener. I know L76 spring are cheap and will put less stress on the dampener but will they still keep valve float in check with the new rockers? I plan on keeping shift points where they are now at 6k. Thanks

Yeah I wasn't planning on using the stock springs. I have ls6 and l76 springs I can use. JUst trying to confirm the L76 will work with the setup with shifts at 6k.

Answer in a nutshell:

Yes it will work, plenty of guys have run it successfully with no issues. Especially since you are only wrapping it out to 6K.

Regardless there cheap as **** so even if you buy a full set it wouldn't be that difficult to turn around and sell them if you opt not to use them.
