YT 1.8 roller rockers on stock springs?

cheers cobber :D

to be honest ive never understood the whole "1.9 modded rockers are ok on stock springs, but YT rollers aren't" thing...
The YT aluminium rockers are much lighter than the steel modded ones... so the spring has less resistance/inertia to work against, which would mean less chance of valve float with YT roller rockers, right?

You could, But I don't know why you would for the price you might as well while you are in there and have it all apart it's only another 15 minutes or so on the project.

I wouldn't recommend something because some have done it "without ever having issues."

First off, don't half ass quote me, I said many. You don't realize that rockers aren't a big deal. Without a cam in addition to rockers lift isn't changing much at all.

ooh!, touchy. And I consider .080 a substantial increase in lift on a stock spring that already has many miles on it. It's not a cam but it can get you 20 HP. If you've ever broken a spring you can see the value of replacing them, plus the value of just having springs that do the job right.
