I'm looking for suggestions and opinions on what equipment and tools should be in a DIY garage for rent. Feel free to list anything and everything you currently have or you would love to have in your own garage.
 


I would have what blue Nick said...and basic hand tools...sockets, ratchets, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, etc. available in like roll carts or something, then have a huge box with all the really cool stuff that would be available on an as needed basis. Tire machine and balancer, brake lathe, A/C machine, maybe an alignment rack.

need a rather high ceiling for one of these to be really nice to have. they do make a floor lift, gets the car like 4 feet up. jay, (hitman) has one.

and a set up for air tools is always nice.

Nice BIG compressor for air tools. Ceiling height not a problem.

Definitely tire mounting and balancing (for an additional fee). what's an A/C machine?

But seriously my dream garage would have a heated floor, floor drains, water for washing cars, heat, A/C, a car lift, all your basic tools needed as well as specialty tools for the car, fridge, minibar, entertainment center, and maybe some other special equipment.

If I would happen to have a wife she would see very little of me during the day as I would spend it all in the garage. But night would be a different story... or maybe I would avoid her altogether and sleep in the garage too.
 
So people can fix their A/C systems...it refills the system...also checks pressures and makes sure things look good. Can also be used to find leaks.

sounds like a working man cave lol
 


transjack, exhaust jacks, gantry crane, BFSS (Big F$in Sound System), hydrological press, pipe and tube bender, plasma cutter, T/MIG welder and a enormous storage system
 
^^ Definitly need a laptop with wifi. Totally spaced that one out. That is a must whenever working on a car incase you get stuck.
