• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Your car will break.

SubwayGuy

Who is this guy?
A kid I go to school with has a GTP Special Edition. He's kind of a tool, but he told me awhile ago that he wanted to put a smaller pulley on the S/C. Don't remember what size exactly, but I think I remember it was a 3 inch pulley of some kind. He never mentioned anything about different headers or exhaust work. I'm sort of hoping he gets knock in his motor or as Scotty puts it "gets a new friend Chip" because he brags about his car all the time. Can't wait to see how his car turns out.

3.0" pulley with no supporting mods will always end up like this.

I mean I don't understand how you can expect to to just throw on a smaller pulley and call it good and expect your car to function perfectly. It's like slapping a turbo on it and doing nothing else. Yeah, real good for your car.

Not to mention all the money you need to spend getting this fixed. New piston, probably would need a whole new head, maybe resurface the cylinder wall? If he sends it in to be done, he'll drop like half the cars value in repairs. Dumbass. I saw him in his car today but didn't look at him. Maybe he hasn't done it yet? I hope he does though.

the pressure from a turbo is different than a supercharger, plus a turbo doesn't get near hot as a supercharger.

I meant that your car isn't gonna run right, at all. I didn't necessarily mean it break with a turbo too, just that it would run like poop.

its actually not as bad as you think, I know a couple guys that turbo swapped their gtp's with no tuning. would they have run better with tuning? probably, but 4 or 5 years after the swap, they were still putting a good amount of power down
