You won't believe what I beat

Beat up on some american muscle tonight! A friend wanted to run his bone stock 95 Camaro Z28 auto w/130,000 miles. I agreed, but insisted on a roll since I figured I would loose either way and it was my best chance to not get embarrassed. I was expecting to loose by 1 1/2 cars.

-My car is an 02 Acura CL-S auto with 108,000 miles, xs power headers, CAI with AEM dryflow filter, and removed spare tire... I also have 2005 acura tl wheels(17x7.5), had a half tank of gas, and a 225lb friend....me weighing 140lbs

-The camaro has a 140lb driver and passenger.

We raced five times....anywhere from 45 in 2nd gear, 50 in 2nd gear, 55 in 2nd, 55 in 3rd, 65 in 3rd, and 70 in third. I won EVERY race and we went up to 110mph...

I AM SHOCKED....you should have seen the look on everyone's faces

The intake must have rely helped me....it certainly is WAY louder and the butt dyno was good....I wasn't expecting anything performance wise

It's time to race my buddies modded GTP again...hopefully I'll even have an underdrive pulley by then!

95 Camaro ftw. Sorry dude but im for the Camaro.

PS. I owned a 95 Camaro, and I really miss it

not disclaiming the win but LT1s are more made to run from a dig, which would of prolly been in the camaro's favor. also being the camaro was stock and high mileage/tired i could see it in the high to mid 14s compared to the TL type-s with mild bolt-ons being closer to the mid to low 14 marker since stock they're mainly high 14s to low 15s

decent win though, but imagine if u went against a (semi-modded) better conditioned LT1 even with higher mileage from a roll, it'd be a different story ;-)

lol I new people would post excuses. LT1's are mid 14 second cars. Keep in mind my car is tired too @ 108,000 miles. I also don't own a TL-S...they are four doors. I own a CL-S which is 2-door and also has some minor differences. The new TL's have welded headers tot he exhaust manifold so they cannot take advantage of headers like my car...

We did race from a dig and I had him, but he had a really bad jump off the light....even then he should have come back on me, but he didn't.

I know what a modded LT1 can do...My friend has a 95 Z28 LT1 6-speed with dumps(way to loud), some z06 rims w/nice tires, K&N CAI, and some other minor stuff and it HALLS BALLS!

Now I need to run into some mustangs and cobalt ss's

good run. i had a M6 lt1 that couldent pull away from me from 45-100. the lt1's arent all that strong. ls1 on the other hand

I believe you man. I like beating those in my car too. Had a guy try to say he had an LS 2 in his last night, and I proved him wrong too, cuz I know I can't beat those. You would be surprise what american muscle gets beat by. Fortunalty for them though it doesn't take much modding to get back on top.
