Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Yeah, I raced the Regal

I admit it isn't my proudest moment. Racing my Regal with 177K on the clock with darker than overdue engine oil fluid in it and known issues. :th_nervous: If TCC doesn't lock up, a quick push on and off of the perf button will do the trick. Trans seems to love me as it keeps holding on and treating me well.

Being a Regal and winter, I'm not expecting any races. When this punk left the stop sign next to me with some authority, I realized he was going for it. I left with him, w/o getting on it.... so I'm in a lazy second gear acceleration. I punched it, got the downshift with a bit of tire squeal and quickly made up the ground for the pass before the stoplight ahead. Guaranteed that Smart won't mess with another Regal for a long time. :th_laugh-lol3:

I showed him!

ROFLMAO you never cease to amaze, Bill... I was expecting something a little less hardcore than some Smart Car Extremist... how old was she? :th_laugh-lol2:

You never race smart cars, you bully. I have many rules, but that is my only one.

Ok..so you didn't like the Smart race. Fine..

Yesterday I'm rolling home at a very normal 80mph for the flow (flow does 80, I love this area). There's a early 90's Cutlass Supreme in the lane ahead passing a rig, doing around 70. I don't tailgate, crowd or anything because we are over the 65mph limit. After we are past with a good distance from the rig, I pull out and go around with a very considerate 4 or so car lengths I pull back in and continue at about 80mph. Give the window a quick wash since it was dirty and my hand was on the lever for the signal back into the lane. I note the Gutlass is keeping up and flipping me off with both hands. Couple of early 30's women, hmmm? Whatev.. when an opening appears next to me, they aim for the pass. WTF I'm not into whatever game they want to play and press the "F you, gbye" pedal. Gave quite a bit of distance and settled back down, once again they are back. Held her to 104 til nearly the exit and they tried, but Gutlass just didn't have what it took to keep up. Stopped off on the way home and putting her back in drive, the trans shuttered a little. :th_nervous:

Well luckily you already know you have to rebuild it eventually... Might as well beat it out of it till it goes

All the parts are sitting in the basement next to the trans casing. I was halfway down checking the valve body when I got sidetracked. Finsih that, toss the clutches into the housings and it's ready to go in.

Order a ps rack (it's complaining too and off to my buddies 75F degree shop I drive. Probably will drive the trans to it's own swap. 3-4 hours and it'll have a good rack and trans. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Calling out this regal. Me and my multona (mullet + daytona) are looking to put the first notch in the win belt. Right after I cut my jeans into shorts and take my white tank top out of the dryer.
