what causes a pushrod to bend? Could a rocker have loosened up. It did it when i was pulling into work. I wasn't getting on it. the rocker next to it was off the pushrod also but was not bent. Any idea's??? thanks for any input

when they were installed was the rocker bolt hole completely clean? oil in the hole will make the bolt not torque down
 
Doesn't mean it couldn't have very slowly come loose. I bent a pushrod...you know what else I found? Busted valve too. Does it misfire or anything now?
