I know this problem may have been covered before, but the wife is driving me nuts with this problem. I have a 05 GTP and there are times when you start and drive off it lags and is just anemic. You have to pull over and shut it off and then restart, and then its as good as new. There are no codes, new wires. I have been told its a computer issue. If thats the case, what are the chances of getting a different one to swap out. At this point Im willing to try anything.

Yep to all 3. Had no effect. Did that the same time I Changed plug wires.

1. Anemia is a decrease in number of red blood cellshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_blood_cell or less than the normal quantity of hemoglobin in the blood.

2. Check for vacuum leaks

3. New, correctly-gapped spark plugs

4. New/clean intake filter

5. New fuel filter

6. Have someone scan with a Tech II or something that might be able to pick up some extra codes that a cheaper scanner might be missing.
