Would you trade a Regal GS in for a Lacrosse Super?

Discovered one for sale in my area. Apparently there were only about 2500 made over a 2 year span making it one rare car. The salesman didn't even know they had a V8 in them. I scared him during the test drive, lol. It has 61,000 miles on it, local and one owner. Haven't verified if the transmission has already been replaced.

Anyway, they know so little about the car that they priced it as a V6. It's $3500 below BB. I'm tempted but at the same time, I look into my garage to see my 98 GS with 46,000 orig. miles sitting there. Basically comes down to 2 things:

1.) Using money for car payments vs. modding the GS
2.) Collectible status of the Super (unsure) vs. the ho humness of the GS (which I don't see a whole lot of compared to GPs)

So yeah I haz variables to consider

So what would you guys do? Figured I'd ask in this section and not the 3800 section. Shhhhh :P
 


I'd rock a Super over a Regal GS, GTP or a GXP just saying............
Not a very big aftermarket but its still a w body and everything that works on a GXP will work on the Super.
 


So conflicted! FI 6cyl vs NA Big CID V8. Car payment vs. mod money. The Regal can hit 12s but the V8 sounds like sex with a chainsaw.

I'm sick now so I don't want to do anything under the influence, lol.
 
One week later and I'm still deciding. Seems the mods I wanted to put on the Regal will stack up to some hefty use of the credit card, lol. With labour, tuning, testing and what not, it could even equal the price of the Super (depending on how far into the build I go). The GS will progressively lose value with more and more mods but I guess that's ok given their overwhelming production numbers.

For the Super, I'd probably go headers, exhaust, cutouts (lulz) and tune. Is the $5000 turbo worth it?
 


Does the W in Wbody stand for whore?

Cuz that would make sense given all I know up to this point in time...
