wot still shifting with performance shift on at 5300

hey guys im just curious I thought the performance shift button was supposed to increase line pressure an raise the rpm shift to 6k at wot? I was just wondering what would still cause it to shift at the same rpm and is 5300 too low? thanks
 


Shift RPM for normal is 5,350 and shift rpm for performance shift is 5,350 from the factory. The motor will spin to around 5500 before the next gear is actually applied.

Shift times are reduced buy roughly 25-45% give or take and line pressure is bumped maybe 5% overall.

They do not up the shift point because the valve springs are still factory and the factory camshaft is still in there. These cars don't make power past 5200-5300 rpm with factory cam and thats why they set the shift points there.
