Worth buying and flipping?

Hey guys. I was looking through CL and came across this 04 NA GP. Looks like the only issue is it's overheating. Body has a few dents here and there but paint looks pretty good still. Interior looks like it needs some TLC, maybe just a good cleaning. Question is do yall think it's worth buying and flipping? If so, how much would you ask for after it's all said and done? 3K?

Offer a little lower and bring cash, don't offend them though because someone would buy it if you didn't.

I bet cleaned up and running right, $4000 is what I'd ask for it, then take the better offer but no less than 3500.

see if you can get it cheaper saying all a long how its gonna need a used engine out loud lol then toss a upper intake gasket on it and sell it for 4 grand lol

it dont look all that bad really, a bit rough in the paint and dent department. ( the roof looks pretty faded) but the price is not to bad either.

i do like the color too. something with red these days, idk im drawn to it somewhat.

Well this would be my first car to flip so i'm kind of nervous but i'm really leaning towards it. a 1k payout from it after a couple hundred bucks in parts and a weekend sounds pretty good to me. Haha. How much should I offer? $1500? $1800?

the way i see it if they entertain the thought of a lower price you toss out 1500, they will either take it or ask for more and wind up in the middle somewhere.

cash also helps.

even if you pay the full asking price you can still make money off it. even if it needs a engine.

Well i'm hoping it won't need another engine. I'm hoping for the worst to be a head gasket issue. That I can do. My plans would be to fix the overheating issue, do a tune up, get it cleaned up pretty good inside and clay bar, polish and wax the outside to bring that shine back out, especially on the roof. What do yall think?

solid game plan.

id hope the over heating is less then that, unless his mom drove it hot as hell. could be a stuck t stat, 10 bucks and done lol that would be epic lol

Scotty don't get me all hopeful and excited that it would just be a tstat or some coolant elbows! Haha. I'd almost feel bad for them and would give some more money afterwards but then again, if you don't even want to bother to get it looked at or fixed, nah. I'll keep all the money. Haha.

Got a reply. Said they would go as low as $1750. Sound good enough or do yall think I still got room to play with the price? Sounds like they really want to get rid of it don't you think? Red flag?

after hearing it run. and if it runs ok, drives ok, shifts ok. all before it gets hot, id take a chance.

and thats right in the middle of the 1500 offer from 2000 lol not bad. figured it would end up there.

Hmm. Well I offered to go Friday afternoon and he said that was fine but there are 2 more people going to go see it tomorrow and he will let me know if it's still available on Friday. Should I wait til Friday or go tomorrow?

A buddy and I just got one to flip. $1500 with 121K on it. Same color and more base that that one. Supposedly bad engine and needs tires. Engine was low on coolant, we did LIM's and are putting tires on it. Quick cleaning and it'll list for $4k

I'd try and snag that for $1500-1700, clean it.. fix the leaking coolant elbow and list sell for $4K, take 3500
