I have a 02 Grand Prix gt coupe with 57000 miles I drove it a few times and parked it then went to crank it it wouldn't not start it turns over normally but just won't start the dash lights are dim oil services engine soon abs low oil lights are very very dim no cel light at all but the air bag and seat belt light is bright car has new fuel pump and filter it is getting fuel for sure but not sure about spark I hear relays kicking and something in the driver kick panel clicking help please car rides like a brand new car and it's killing me not being able to drive it I pulled the codes no codes came back

bad ground or dirty battery terminals? they been cleaned off yet? or checked?

you got 3 grounds that run to the tranny bell housing one fat bat neg cable and 2 smaller wires. make sure they are clean and tight too.

I'll check that out it turns over like it's getting no spark I know it's getting fuel and pulled codes no codes appeared

slow cranking, flickering lights.

when you turn the key to start it the dash blacks out right? its supposed to. no dummy lights or nothing should be lit up when cranking the engine over.

you try a shot of starting fluid in the intake? if it fires up for a few seconds its not getting fuel.

When I crank it it turns over normally and tryied starter fluid doesn't work when you usually all the lights suppose to come on on the dash every light but mines doesn't it they are just dim very hard to see and it turns over like a regular car but not catching I think the dim lights has something to do with the starting problem

check for spark yet?

try googeling for bad ignition harness symptoms see if you can find any one else with this type of problem.

you can pull a plug out, put the plug wire back on, rest the bottom of the spark plug on metal to ground it, then crank the engine, the plug should spark.

or prop a plug wire a inch over the coil, a spark should jump to the wire from the coil when cranking it.

I had a car with a bad ground that worked like that( although mine wouldn't even crank over)......I would try running a ground wire from the motor to the body and see if that helps with the dim lights.

I pulled the the cluster out and plugs 1 3 5 they appeared to be wet fouled plugs clean the plugs put them back in ran for about 4 secs then shut off if all the plugs fouled out would that cause a no start condition or just poor performance

Typically would just run bad, but if enough are fouled out I could see if stopping it from running. Did you pull the rear plugs as well? They may be in the same shape. How smooth did it run when it ran for the 4 seconds? I wonder if the fuel pump isn't running after burning off the "prime".
