i found a 1999 gtp with right at 200,000 miles on it. car is black on black with sunroof. seller states it needs a fuel pump. and front windshield is broken. he told me i could get it for 1200 if i come this weekend.
 


probbally needs more than that. could have pooched rockers/strut towers

if it's reasonably clean, talk him down more. could probbally get it for 900
 


For a car like that offer 850 after windshield and new fuel pump assembly you will at least need to dump another 350-400 plus a couple of hundred bucks on fluids and tune up. Also more importantly has the transmission been replaced? If it is the factory trans even a good trans would be on its way out after 200,000 miles of hard work.
 
and i have to tow the car as well.
i just spent 1300 on my 1998 gt trans rebuild.
but this gtp would be gone through with a fine tooth comb and all the quirks repaired. i am a little OCD about my cars
 
If you get all the parts to change the fuel pump assembly you can swap it out in about 45 minutes and drive it home or give it a through test drive.
