• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Raced that hotrod. The pic was after putting on a new front clip after an unwanted meeting with the turn 3 wall. New nose, radiator, suspension, steering gear and sheet metal. Crashed it on Saturday, had it on the jig Sunday, new front clip in place by Wednesday evening, Re-assembled and raced the very next Saturday and won! My pit guy joked that I should wreck it every week with that kind of result. I would prefer to win races without bending anything:th_thumbsup-wink:

scotty, a couple of racers who decided to win the race on the 2nd lap ended up wrecking in front the 3rd place car who was on my inside. He never seen me and turned up to avoid the wreck and he took me right into the wall. It was not a soft wall....lol

i've been to some county dirt tracks, 10 foot high 3 foot thick cement walls, they dont move at all.

the 4 foot wall on the inside also looked like a problem lol

That one provided me with a lights and sirens trip to the ER. The wall cut through the car just behind the right front tire. Broke the transmission off the bellhousing and it ended up on my legs. Broke the crank in the engine and wrecked the block. Was not a good night. There was no fixing that car....lol

Dirt track cars are so fun the guy who owns the body shop I work at with the little free time I ever get runs outlaw sprints. Dirt track racing def takes some money to be competive so I gotta give you props for puttin the car back together so quick!

I would have been SOL if it weren't for people like Kevin Viebrock at Viebrock Performance Products. Great guy and a long time racer who fields some of the sharpest Modifieds in the region. He was picked as the car builder to put together cars for Tony Stewart when he raced at Cedar Lake Speedway. I was lucky enough to crew for Smoke and gotta say he is a great guy and can wheel a racecar.
