Wire hanging from under car near Passenger Side tire

There is a 12 Volt wire hanging from under the car and am wondering where it is from. Mainly so I can figure out what to do with it, there is also a wire hanging from where the license plate is.

This could be dangerous so I am just figuring out what to do.

Did you check them for voltage?

If you have wires...trace them back, it's as simple as following the wire.

Dangerous, how?

I don't know much about cars but that wire could have been anything. Even a wire that controls the ABS system. (in that case that would affect braking)

Found the problem, the wire broke off the bottom light to the car. Advance Auto said the light only comes in a complete bumper assembly. $100 for that particular part.

If you had an ABS issue, you would have been notified by a nice little light on the dash. And ABS only affects braking when you try to lock up the brakes. (not being sarcastic, helping to inform you. BTW the owners manual would have mentioned that about the ABS)

$100 for ?? a foglight?

sounds like a trip to the junkyard to get a new connector and possibly light if its not screwed up and then just patch/solder the new wiring in

pics would still help this thread :)
