Is there really a different windshield if you have a HUD in ur car?...this place told me there was a different coating on the windshield for a car equipped with a HUD...they said if i went with the cheaper windshield that the display would look a little blurry...anyone know if this is true? thanks
 


True fact! These part numbers/prices are probably out of date but you get the idea:

2000-2002 with HUD, part no. 10313180, $601.25
2002-2002 no HUD, part no. 10313179, $310.79
 
Are you paying for the winshield? If you are I would get the non-HUD one. My car was non-hud and i put hud in....doesnt look blurry at all to me. Doesn't look ANY different from my stepmoms car which has the factory hud. Oh and my brothers car looks fine and his was a non-hud car too.
 
I have heard that if you put a non HUD in a HUD car, the numbers are a little blurry but not too bad.
