windows go up/down with no power....

i have a 2005 GTP and a couple of days ago my power windows mysteriously gained the ability to roll up or down without the keys in the ignition. even after the door is opened....

anybody seen this before or heard anything like this? any info would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like whichever module they are hooked into is not being told that retained accessory power is turned off. Likely a door module, but I'm not sure as I have no experience with the newer GP's.

Does the lights on your radio stay on as well? RAP relay may be stuck or the BCM is keeping it on.

I had a 05 G6 that did this. The radio would stay on after the key and door was opened. The dealer fixed it. It is the module inside the door that is supposed to shut off all the accessories when the door is opened. So, I'd suggest having that module replaced.

I can see that.... nonetheless it concerns me because it just started happening recently.... Everything else is fine. Radio shuts off when I open the door etc.

my aunts did this... shes xtremely superstitious and it freaked her out pretty good!! lmao. traded the car the next day..

I had to get mine fixed because it was killing my battery. Granted, the battery was weak and needed replaced. But, it does wear on the battery.
Is it just the windows that have power or does the radio stay on too?
I could turn the car on and off, shut the doors, lock and unlock and it still wouldn't kill the power. I got so irritated at it I finally called the dealer while I was at work and told them to pick it up and fix it.
