Window Question

So, while I was driving yesterday the front passenger window started to roll itself down, and neither switch did anything (up or down). I assume the window motor is a good place to start - is the window motor the same on a coupe and sedan? Then I can just grab the one off my parts car and see if that fixes it.

I would be thinking switch, not motor. If it suddenly grew a mind of it's own and is inoperative since then. Could be either front switch. Get out a test light or multimeter and track it down. Sedan and coupe window motors same?- could be, and a quick part number search should get you that answer. Just look up both cars somewhere, see if numbers are same.

I looked over and it was half down, attempted to use driver's and passenger's button to go up or down and it did nothing. Looked over 5/8 minutes later and the top of the window was an inch from being gone, tried again, nothing. I assume it was just slowly going down. Today, I tried to see if it was loose up/down or anything and it fell down the remaining inch quickly without resistance when I fooled with it.

Verify that the motor is still working (listen closely while working the switch). If the motor is good, my money is on the actuator.

I'll do that tomorrow then, I assume if I put my ear to the door panel, try to work the switch and I don't hear anything the motor is bad? If the motor is good, then I need something like: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1991-2010-G...ash=item4636e4f41d:g:Hf0AAOSwAHZUOU8s&vxp=mtr correct?

Nope. More like this:

I apologize. I called it an actuator. Meant to say regulator. The motors rarely go bad compared to regulators.
