I have a 2006 Grand Prix GT SC. The rims that came on my vehicle are 17in and the current tires are 225/55/R17.

Will 16" steel winter rims clear the brake calipers and rotors on my car?

The tires in question are Goodyear Nordic 215/65/R16. Will those tires clear suspension parts? Acording to the web, the OD of my current tires are 26.7" and these are 27". The differnce in size is less then 1%.

I shouldn't have any issues with those tires and rims correct?
 


It'll clear...pretty sure those things clear F-Body's...I mean...put them on and find out. Worst case scenario is they rub while you install them right?
 
I live in ottawa, and my father is purchasing them in timmins, which is 800km away

The brakes are the same size on the SE and GT for the 2006 year?
