i think i really caught the bug.. since i put on the 3.6 and my tune an not hitting 13.9999's at the track, i bought a 3.5 pulley and a.. oh no...... a 3.4. i know i wont be to bad with the 3.5 i have no kr at all, blips at part throttle an none throughout WOT, im gonna scan when i do my 3.5 and go from there.. but what do you really think of the 3.4, stay away without rocker or cam or other flow work such as heads? or Will i be fine if i install my water meth kit an get retuned/tweaked..

also this is just to keep me entertained until my motor is done being built.. block is about done.. its .20 over with hypertectic pistons, i had to have the crank cut an polished an i got a VS cam an the #90 springs, i also had the lim and supercharger port and polished
 


First thing first i would get and install a wideband. If you're doing a full out build with your other motor you're damn well gonna need it when you get it tuned anyway. I bet the only way you're gonna get away with the 3.4 is running pig rich and that doesn't make good power anyway. the 3.5 is probably the lowest i'd go with your mods.
from my experience i could only run a 3.4 on my comp g with these mod's
9" cone
180 t-stat
colder plugs
headers
1.9 rockers
^i got a mail order tune from zzp and bolted up the 3.4-scanned and had no kr with modest timing and commanded afr pretty dang rich
. . . installed wideband shortly after. . . and was seeing low 10's!!! way too rich
after tuning properly and getting my afr dialed to 11.2(still a little on the rich side) and 18* peak timing i still had a couple degrees of kr on warmer days. and that's with rocker's. i'd try the 3.5 see how it goes, then you can try the 3.4 if you want but just cuz you can run the pulley doesn't mean your making the power. . .
