Will a stock deck out of a '02 Monte Carlo fit a '00 gtp with Bose

does anyone know or has anyone put a '02...ish Monte Carlo style stock cd player in a '00 gtp equiped with bose?.... will it work?... i realize it prolly wont work the disc changer in the trunk but will it run the bose amp and function other than that? my car currently doesn't have the bose 7 equalizer in it but rather the 2 equalizer head unit, but it wont run the disc changer either, it just getting to be in bad shape now and found a deal on a Monte Carlo h/u...i'd also like to stay with a stock look.

02 Monte will be a data controlled radio and is also a double din... So in short no it wont fit.

How much space the unit takes up in the dash. Our cd player units are 1.5 dins (pretty sure).

I've seen people fit double dins in our dashs, but it takes some work and cutting.
