Will a series 1 3800 tranny fit a series 2

my 02 grand prix gt trannys on its way out my buddy has a rebuilt series 1 tranny he wants to sell me but will it fit its outta a 92 buick

Nope.

Completely different transmission.

Only a 98-02 trans from a GT car will fit yours.
