Wierd vibrating noise

I have this strange vibrating noise...I think it might be coming from the exhaust. Sounds like thin metal vibrating quickly, like tin. The closet thing I can describe it as is how power steering sounds when it whines on some vehicles when you turn wheel when your sitting idle. Actually the thing that comes to mind is a 90's ford f-150 power steering whine. This vibration on my car comes randomly usually city driving, it comes and goes randomly only lasting a couple seconds. I have no idea what it is but it's very annoying. Anyone have any ideas? I could try and record it if need be.
