Ok, I will try to explain this and also have a question: Is it possible to have a sticky front brake caliper, and have that cause the ABS to kick in at slow/almost stopped speeds as well as cause the car to say the traction control is on or not working?
I have a problem where the traction control comes on or I get an error (Chimes and display lights up; no engine codes) or I get a "grinding" from the ABS being applied, but all at very slow speeds or even when backing up. I then usually get a Service traction control chime followed by a Service ABS chime and both lights come on on the dashboard. I thought it might be a cable to wheel sensor problem, but the wires seem to be ok (haven't replaced them yet). I was wondering if it could be a sticky caliper as the last time I did a brake job (beginning of the year) I notice the one caliper did not seem to want to compress smoothly (seemed to stick) when I compressed it to take it off.
