I can agree it is a lot of money but like I said, they are prescription and allow me to see crystal clear for "fierce competition mountain biking", road biking, boating, outdoor hockey, everyday driving and road trips, and pretty much anytime I am outside where I'd like to see things clearly more than about 50 feet.

Someone hit me in the Oakley's with a hockey stick and it took the impact without scratching the lens. I'm happy with the quality and value so far.
