Who would be interested in a Quaife differential

Thanks. I'm looking to spend some money before the end of the year, so if I can't find any machinery I like, I may order a batch of these. We are probably looking at your cost being somewhere around $1200 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48 states.

ask them if they increased the thrust surface area on the axle/side gears where they connect to the 6 helix gears.

2 tiny changes and they could have an actual thrust surface instead of just the teeth of the gear....like maybe a keyed thrust washer/flange?!?!?!?

i have one sitting in a plastic bucket with oily rags and a ford EECIV ecu cover set down on top of it to protect it.

it was just starting to chew the teeth when pulled, i got it from THEE Mike Dye after Ray and I bought a bunch of his old fwd stuff when he retired.

i still have it set aside for the TR since i consider it a classic even though i cant get classic plates for 4 more years.

full boogie 3800 regal for posterity

whatd you pay for one?

I have a spare Quaife with planetary gears that I ran in my GTP for a few weeks and I'm not sure what to do with it. I bought an early Quaife when they came out. But it needed some modifications to get the planetary gear pins in. The holes were too small and the pins needed to be shortened. But we installed it. And it didn't have enough of a taper to easily release it from the compression ring on the output shaft. They eventually sent me a new one with some updates and I still have the original. I'm not sure I would install it for a lot of miles without being inspected, but if anyone is interested, let me know. I feel bad scrapping it.
