White smoke from exhaust when in boost

Hello,

I wanted to get opinions on my new problem.

When i get pretty high into boost like over 5lbs i start getting white smoke out of the exhaust. At first i thought the crap plastic intake manifold gaskets had gone bad. I already had the metal ones so i tore into the engine and and put them in. The plastic ones looked pretty good, they only had about 10k miles on them. I changed my coolant and oil as well. They both looked good, coolant still looked new and the oil was not milky at all. Put everything back together and took it out for a test drive. Well i didnt get any white smoke the first 2 pulls i really got into boost. But the next day i was merging onto the highway and had a nice bit of white smoke when i got into boost. I did not really notice a loss of power or anything.
Mods for mobile readers,
02 Grand Prix GT Mods' Top Swapped Gen 3, Stage 2 IC, 3.0" MPS, 42# injectors, 1.8 Yella Terra roller rockers, Speed Daddy Headers

So right not my guess is the one of the head gaskets has gone bad. Just wanted other opinions before i tear into it again.

Thanks
Dan

if the ic is leaking and you have a res tank for it, its easy to see if the coolant is low.

id like to know your timing wot with a 3.0 on a top swap. i cant really get past 13 with a 3.2. we got about the same mods.

I am currently running 18* of timing at wot. How much boost are you making with the 3.2. I seem to top out at 10lb of boost with my 3.0. I know i have some loss from the IC.
Also today i tried to see if i could get some white smoke out of the exhaust and i was not able to get anything. One thing i realize now is when i seem to see the white smoke is when i am accelerating out of a sweeping right hand turn usually getting onto the highway. Wil do some tests this weekend to see what i can figure out.

all i can run is 13º wot from 4800 up iirc. other wise its KR city. and i hit 9.5 psi at 6000 rpm. will go higher with the 3.0 or 2.8, like 2 psi per pulley. but with each drop i need to cut more timing. and you start to not pull as hard with the timing cut to 9º, but the blower sounds cool lol

Interesting the difference between mine and yours. With my 18º and 10 psi i see no kr. I know that is my limit though because if i go to 19º i see kr, its low but its still there. Yeah i bet that would whine!

Are you talking about the coolant holes that flow to the TB, if so then yes those have been plugged. I didnt see any signs of coolant leaking around the lim gaskets either.

how rude. you know what gp stands for right???? giant pile. thats right, i went there lol

in the end a regal is a nicer car inside, just go sit in one, you'll be like i got fuked in the seats department.

Thatdon'tThat don't happenoften

I aint a pretty fart smeller. I just have no life

on a side note, since ive had issues in the past, make sure your not pressurizing the crankcase. at idle, remove cap/breather and put your hand over it and see if it wants to suck your hand in... if you have to run a breather it should suck a little as the pcv applies vacuum. if its an internal fresh air passage, make sure air flows into the crankcase and your hand doesn't suck in.

if you have a manifold to crankcase vac leak (people install too long map bracket bolts all the time causing leaks as it pushes the IC up off the lim and preventing a seal.) youll also pressurize the crankcase under boost and greatly increase oil blowby/burning

I'm talking about the coolant holes in the lim. it could leak coolant into the lim and you wouldn't see any signs other than what you previously posted.
