Whining Left turn

04 GP GTP: A few weeks ago I noticed an occasional whining when turning left under power. Kind of reminded me of bad bearings in a power steering pump in previous cars. Now...this has a supercharger, and I am not confusing this new noise with that sound. No sound when turning right or coasting. Today however, the sound increased but the whine continued after straightening out from the turn. It increases and decreases with RPM. Could also hear the whine when in PARK. Came out of the store, and it had once again died down and can only hear it when making a powered left turn. Thoughts?

PS, replaced the front control arms, ball joints, struts, etc. about 2 months ago and all looked good in the front end.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I did check the PS fluid a couple weeks ago when the issue started. I thought it was OK but looking down into the deep cavern of the PS reservoir tonight, it was low. Also, the wiring harness that runs between the battery and the SuperC belt was rubbing on the belt. WOW, caught it just in time. The plastic harness cover was eaten up on the bottom (where I couldn't see it) and a few of the wires were worn RAW. Holy cow! Glad I didn't short out. Filled the res., repaired the wires and zip tied them away from the belts. all is good. I can't believe that a rubbing harness and low res. could be that LOUD! Anyway...posting this so it might help someone else. By the way, my coolant hose from the res. to the radiator was also worn through and leaking from the same issue. Beware!
