Where is my oil going?

I recently bought a 92 GP STE (not the 5 speed, or turbo version) but a 3.4 auto. I've changed all six spark plugs and changed the oil once already, one day I went out to check the oil and it was low...... very low, so I added around two quarts and when I went to change my oil today, barely anything came out when I pulled the filter, WHAT THE ****! I haven't seen any evidence that I'm burning it because I have not seen any blue smoke. I did however notice that when I changed the spark plugs a couple of months back when I pulled the plug wires there was oil on all six ends of the plastic and rubber plug wire inserts. I pulled all six plugs out and the threads were all coated in fresh oil, like it had happened as I was pulling them out. I replaced them after gaping them correctly, routed all the wires, plugged them in, and started it up and suddenly she burns oil. It slowly went away though as I was driving and hasn't come back since. But I still can't figure out where my oil is disappearing off to.:confused:
 


Ok so just for ****s and giggles I decided to check the dipstick after I drained it and I got a reading of around 1 and a half quarts low...... How is that possible with the oil drained? Do I have a clog somewhere? The last oil change I did, I used a 5 quart bottle of Pennzoil that was supposed to help clean out engine crud or something like that, do you think that's what's causing the problem?
 
Ok I feel like a complete idiot right now, I probably should save myself the embarrassment but I was thinking about my oil change and stupid me thought did I drain the oil the proper way by pulling the drain plug bolt.........Yeah I don't know what planet I was on but just pulling the filter won't drain it completely. Another one of my Homer Simpson moments, D'OH! But everything else that was said is true.
 
lol thats s*** is funny. we all have our homer simpson moments "dough!" My brother was changing the oil, and when he filled it up again, he noticed a large oil puddle under the car. turned out he had forgotten to put the drain plug back on.
