when watching horror movie what part you hate?

ever watch sci-fiction or horror movie? it gets me piss off when they can't find the right key to start up the car that they drive everyday and come on, there's only like 15 different keys on the key chain. how about this part, the car won't start until the last minute when the monster/killer just about ready to get them.

Or when there doing like 180 down the road, go around the corner and there stands the monster they ran from 50 miles back.(Jason for example)

How they insist on investigating or splitting up. WTF, if some weird **** is going down I got a gun in hand and my best bud watching my back.

they start hugging and kissing thinking the killer is dead, but suddenly it come back alive all you hear is a girly scream...eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewww:D

i hate it when people know something is going on with some sort of monster/ghost in a house/room, and they just have to go in anyway

i just love how the characters are running from the monster (Freddy,Jason, etc) and they clearly have a half mile lead but "suddenly" trip and thrash around on the ground for a few seconds and the next thing they know the monster is right on top of them. As if it was right on ther heels the whole time. lol, must be that time-warp effect

Oh are we finally complaining about this now?? I can't stand the sad 3 second delay when someone sees the killer, and realizes the killer sees them, and then the music... Then back to them, and then the killer, and them, then like a tree or something, then they scream but don't run, and more nothing... You know what i'm talking about...

It also always bothered me that no one has just dealt with these people in the movie... I mean, half these movies are about someone crazy killing a bunch of gullible morons... And I gotta tell you, if 180 pounds worth of kids halloween costume brandishing a fishing knife was looking at me from across my hall, it wouldn't end with me crying in a laundry hamper... I mean my god, grab a hammer, deal with it, and while you dial for a meat wagon, ponder every possible meaning to the term "self defense" a cop would listen to...

And as long as i'm at it... A few days ago I watched some movie about kids that play a video game and then die or something... Ghost game or something... Well, it was set in this movie that roses scare away ghosts... Why? Why not... Which is fine... You always toss a weakness at your monster... But at one point late in the movie, maclom in the middle gets killed by the ghost literally while he is laying under a giant pile of roses... If you're gonna bother to fake a history, why not stick to it??

I hate the fact that none of these movies are able to really scare the crap out of me. 6th sense and the ring where good but they didnt quite do it... Suggestions welcomed

The Grudge was pretty good. The best part was when the kid was crawling down the steps make that funky noise. Haven't seen part 2 yet.

I agree with all of you guys. Just IMO "Strangers" it freaked me out! It was SO real! None of the OMG my car wont start or OMG a gun and no bullets! It was a good "horror" film. Not very gory and not really to scary just the fact there was alot of "truth" behind it.

Hey! I had to bring this back up to see if any of you did get to watch "The Strangers" and if ya did what did you think about it?

I watched it in theaters, it was good but about 45 minutes and for the next hour of watching them run around a field and barn was just repetitive. By today's standards it was a good flick!
