The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
Hello guys i have question my 07 GP base model have 16 inch rims and i want to go to 17" but when i check rockauto it says my coilovers are just for 16 inch so thats means i need to change my struds in order to run bigger rims ?? And sorry for stupid question
I'd look at 17 AND 18" wheels. 20" are available but the tire sidewalls get too short and you can bend a wheel by driving over the tiniest bump. If you are going bigger both work. Use a tire calculator to find an outside diameter that suits your requirements. Go to some custom wheel sites and you will find application guides that know what fits your vehicle for strut and wheel housing clearance.
But i was looking at my struts whit stock wheels and the cup where spring is sitting is very close to my tire so i'm thinking that 18's my not fit i feel like dummy now asking this question haha
You are lowering the tire sidewall height when you increase the rim size to keep the rolling diameter the exact same. Going from a 225/60 to a wider but lower sidewall 245/45 makes it all the same.
