what's this connector?

I noticed this and can't seem to figure out where it goes. Usually a car this old will have the wires bent or stretched into their permanent shape and you can find where a connector goes but that didn't work.


It joins a wire loom down by the side of the brake booster. 2 wire connector, black and orange wires.
