What's the latest tech on 14" brakes? (Esp. fifth gen Camaro)

All of the tech I'm finding on this subject is several years old. My goal is 14" front rotors. I already have it worked out for GT500 Mustang rotors and C5 Corvette calipers using adapter spacers for the abutment brackets. That's cheap, easy, and will allow me to keep my 18" Bullitt wheels. However, I'd like to look at the fifth generation Camaro SS 4 piston Brembos either on the Camaro rotors or the GT500 rotors.
I know that with the Camaro rotors, the hub bore would have to be slightly enlarged.

Everything that fits the W-body will work for my E-body and you guys are the experts. My car uses a 4T80 transmission, so I'm not worried about using a 1 piece rotor.

I'm not interested in the expensive 6 piston CTS-V calipers and would like to compare the 4 piston Brembo upgrade possibility to the C5 Vette caliper upgrade - both on 14" rotors.
Thanks in advance.

I'm running the 5th gen brembos on my 01 z/28. I used pads and rotors from 5th gen Camaro. I know others have used Z06 rotors and the pad contact area was off. To fit I needed the center hub bored out at a local machine shop, custom brake lines, and I believe I drilled out the stock caliper brackets.

If you can bolt f-body brakes on I see no problem why these wouldn't work. You are going to need at least 18 inch rims and possibly small rim spacer.

I've seen pictures of that awesome car. Nice work.
I know for sure, I'll run the 5th gen 14" rotors on all 4 corners (or the Mustang GT500's).
I just don't know if the first front caliper upgrade will be F-body dual piston (which I have in my garage already), the C5 Vette (with its smaller and faster filling pistons), or the 4 piston Brembos.
Wheels/spacers may be a factor as I would like to keep my 18X8.5 S197 Mustang Bullitts for all season tires and 18X10's for summer tires.
I hope to use adapters to keep the Bullitts with Brembos and find oewheelsllc rims for the wider wheels and not have to use spacers.
I've heard that the GT4 style will fit over them.

I'm not sure of the offset but to clear my 18's on the fbody I needed 40 or lower. I required a spacer because I was using stock f-body back spacing. I do plan to run the same setup on my GTP. I'm just not familiar with bullitt specs, these are my ideal rim of choice.

The 8.5" wide factory Bullitts have a 6.75" backspace which translates to a 51 mm offset. The high offset is needed to keep the tires tucked under a GP's narrow fenders. The 04 and earlier Mustang offset would be more big brake friendly, but you'd be limited by width.
I have the opposite problem with my Eldo. These 255's on 8.5" Bullitts look skinny tucked away under the fender well "caves". I bet I could run 1.25" spacers and still lower the car some without rolling the fenders (well maybe just a touch up front) but I have room for 315's on 11's under a lowered rear end.... But no budget or purpose for that on the back of a FWD.
There is a good wheel thread here on this forum.
Also, the high offset 05 up Mustang wheels have some models that have spokes that will clear Brembos.

Just an FYI: on the Mustang wheels, the factory chose a higher than necessary offset to keep the stock 8.5" wide wheels tucked. The aftermarket has 9" and 10" wide varieties that are not so deeply offset. However, to remain tucked under your finders, you need the high offset of the 05+ stang generations.
OE Wheels LLC has their 18 x 9's with 38MM offset that equate to a 6.5" backspace. From what I have read, that would work well with the GP fender clearance. 245MM seems to be the go to tire width here, but if I remember correctly, rolled fenders will allow a 255MM wide tire.
The 10" wide wheels have a 42MM offset for a 7.15" backspace. You will have to work your fenders over to tuck them in. I have heard of a GP using 285's and 10's but if that was the picture I saw, they had about 1/4" to 1/2" of open sky above the outer edge of the rims. There's a good wheel thread here somewhere.
For comparison, the 04 and earlier Mustangs have 24MM offset and 5.94" backspace on the 9" wide wheels and 22MM offset and 6.37" backspace on 10" wide wheels. I have seen pics of GP owners who have installed those and the results were comical.

Please keep me posted on your brake mod.

Thanks.
