Whats the highest mileage you've heard of these engines going for?

I love my supercharged 3800. One of the reasons I wanted the car so bad was simply because of the 3800.

We had a 3800 Buick PA (1990) that first sold me on the 3800.... Those old Buick's I know went for well over 200,000... thats what I saw and those that I saw were quite abused., but I've heard of much higher....
 


The Tranny's are a different story. They certainly tend to fail long before the engines. In some of the fords I've owned it was the other way around.
 
Some guys on the CGP have over 300k on original motor and trans.

If maintained properly and driven reasonably, these cars will last a long time.
 


there are some highly modded gps out there with over 200k miles. its not uncommon if you just take care of your car.
