I just got my apillar installed yesterday and my Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge is all over the place usually when i give the car any type of gas it is in optimal but going crazy where it is jerking back and forth and it does this the whole time i drive wondering if thats the way it is supposed to read

Air/Fuel ratio gauges are more just light shows... That's exactly what it does, the only thing they are good for is when your wide open throttle to make sure you are not running lean, otherwise let up. If you want a true more accurate gauge spring the extra bucks and get a wideband.

And they aren't even that good when it comes to WOT runs. The narrowband gauge is accurate around 14.7 AFR. That is why you end up with the disco light.

Like JDC said, get a wideband. PLX, AEM, Innovate, AEM... You can find them for around under $300 no problem now.

should have at least bought a modified one that only reads o2 values between .800mV and .999mV so at least it was sorta helpful.
