What should I do with my car?

I want to do something to my ride to make it look nice. It's already nice, and clean inside and out but it is just plain.... I ordered a set of Spyder headlights and taillights, and will have the new exhaust tips monday, but what are some other relatively cheap improvements I can make to make it stand out from the rest? I'm not too big on stickers and decals, and this is my daily driver that I haul my kids around in, but I want it to look sharp (without draining my bank acct). Thanks :th_jester:

debadge it and tint the windows.

if you want something that really sets it apart, get some wheels.

another "cheap" improvement is to re-paint your air dams on your bumpers(I dunno if that is the right name for them) I see that yours already dont match front to back. and a subtle color change can help your car stand out.

The window tint was already on my list of future things to do, and I got the idea for the head/tail lights from other threads on here. You think Bronze would look good on the air-dam things? Can the body shop paint the Pontiac emblem in the back one a different color too like others i've seen or is that a sticker? I think the Twin Halo projector headlights(what I ordered) look pretty sweet! does anyone know anything about them? I've heard they bounce alot. And I will look on places like Craigslist and look into some rims, thank you! Any suggestions on style of rims? I want more of a "tough" look, and not the "pimp my Ride" look, so not spinners or something cheesy like that. And does anyone know If I can get an Stereo that will work with my HUD and steering wheel controls? Sorry to bombard you all with questions but this is something I'm really excited about, and thank you for all the input!!

HUD and SWC isn't a matter of the radio. Regardless, you'd have to do some heavy modding to make it work with the HUD, and most radios usually have a separately sold module that makes the radio work with SWC.

I dont think I like the sound of "heavy modding".... I like the HUD radio display feature too much to give it up, guess I'll keep the factory radio.

look around on the website theres some other stuff to like badge overlays and stuff that really changes the look of the car

Thank you SO much, I just ordered the decals for my rear bumper cover and my front license plate cover!!

Once I get the exhaust tips, head/tail lights, windows, and decals done I will post some before/after pics, shouldn't be long!

Reflective Concepts is the company that does the decals. Check out their site sometime. They have some pretty neat stuff that can really set a car off. I have the overlays for the GTP badges and it really stands out.

lol dude, your from deep river...

so tell me, why does that town sell around 100 grand prix a month? where do you guys get them from? look at craigslist for iowa city..odd.

That is Rons Custom Cars in Deep River!! He's a friend of mine, and all he does is buy GPs and fix them and sell them. Some are salvage title and others are not, but he really cranks 'em out of there at a pretty amazing rate, and people buy them quicker than he can push them out the shop doors. But I got mine from a dealer....:th_thumbsup-wink:

I never really noticed it was gone. xP
I can understand missing the HUD if you lost it, but only the radio station/cd track thing? Psh. A quick glance over at your new awesome aftermarket radio is all you'd have to do.

I don't know if my wallet is going to allow for a new stereo at this point in time, but its on the list!
