What setting do you run your AGX struts on?

Right now have I Vogtland springs with KYB Excel-G struts, getting ready to install the new AGX's. This is literally the last piece of the suspension puzzle...I have 245/45-18 Michelins, GMPP F/R sway bars with Moog links, new front control arms with Moog bushings, and W-body Store tubular rear trailing arms and lateral arms.

So what do you guys set your AGX's at?
 


This is gonna sound stupid....but.....the knob on the top of the strut has numbers 1 to 4, but there is no stop on how far it can rotate left or right and I don't see any index mark that the numbers are supposed to line up to....how do you tell what number they are set on???
 
The struts should have come with instructions, if they didn't, do an Internet search to find them and read them
 
Rears are 3 all the time. fronts are 1 in town, 2 if I am leaving town. 3 and 4 in the the front and I can feel cracks in pavement.
 


Found the white dot! The backs look like a white stripe painted on the shaft. Issue now is that one of the back adjusters got smashed in shipping, will post a pic later.
 
Heres what one of the rears look like. These were NIB but damaged in shipping. Got a good deal from a guy here on the forum. Here's hoping ghis is setting#3.
