what is this connector?

hey guys was replacing my headlight on the passenger side on my 2001 buick regal gs today and i noticed this 3 pin connector tucked away not hooked up....and i cant find anything near it that it should be plugged into. comes out of the same harness by the headlight that the headlight n horn come out of....what's it for? impact sensor? airbag sensor? Link below for a pic of the connector in question.

Might be for an emissions part your car does not use. Like a SMOG pump, Air pump type thing.

It's a 3 pin connector but only has two active pins. It's not a light because those are two pin only for headlights or fog lights.
