• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What is the biggest raise you have gotten?

While still staying the same linear position with the same company? My current position started me off at like 10.50 an hour, and through the course of 3 years I have worked up to 13.96. I took two classes last year (which the company ended up paying for,) and I found out today that I am getting another pretty big raise. Should pan out to an extra $6K a year. My face did one of these = when they told me.

Same job description, same responsibilities, same people working under me, same people working above me.

Now I might actually be able to afford this trannyman trans that I want to get! :D

Congrats!

Biggest I ever got was $5.50 an hour more. I quit where I work now about 5 years into working there (been there 15 now) and they called me three times, each time higher until I finally caved and came back.

I got a 44.8% raise the first of this year plus a bonus for the first time since Ive been there. For whatever reason, they (the company) did a market analysis and deemed me underpaid. So within weeks of getting my merit raise they called me back in and said my pay would be adjusted to better reflect that of my peers industry wide.

When I started in the warehouse at the company I work for, I was making a fat $10.25/hr. Just out of high school, that was pimp money!

Now I'm sitting in the $20/hr range. Not bad for someone with no college under his belt.

sheesh... 44.8% biggest chunk i've gotten was like 9.5 %, but in just over 2 years since i've been there, i've gotten a total of 25%

My summer job was $9/hr. 3 months later I asked for $12/hr, but I think they mighta messed up cuz it's more like $17-18/hr. Needless to say, I put in weekends now that I'm back to school again:D

I get ~$12.50/hr, raised from $7.25/hr.
Problem is that I only work 10 hrs/wk because of school. :/

Two years ago, me and the wife decided we wanted to relocate to North Carolina. The owner of the company was very supportive of my desire to move, but the company accountant knew that the company was pretty much screwed without me (or at least until they found a replacement that could put up with the owners extreme personality without quiting after 3 weeks) so they offered me a 86% raise. Needless to say, I stayed.

I was just offered a promotion and took it, so w/ that I got a 4.00/hour raise from 14.25/hr. It's cool because it is actually more than I am supposed to make per best buy guidelines.

welp....I have gotten an annual 8% raise this past year, and expect another 4% added on this coming April. I did get an 11.6% bonus check this past month....paid for Xmas and paid off a car.
