These were both on my ground. Could somebody fill me in on what these are for? The voltage meter?

Just taking a guess here, it looks like the wire that goes to the ring connector that gets bolted to your head. You have a newer GP so I am not sure, but if you check under your ICM where the alternator support bar bolts down, it may be there.
 
I think, but I am not sure, that it goes into the fuse box that's right there. It goes underneath and everything is so cramped that I can't see a thing lol
