What does "Knock" Feel like

Hey guys so when i was at the track a few days ago my last run i felt a knock as i was going down the track. after the run i listned to the car and everthing felt a ok so i assumed it was nothing.

Now when i go WOT i feel the same knock feeling and afterwards i smell Gas, does this mean i am knocking or is this something else? but i deff smell gas in the car and when i pop the hood i can smell gas too

Only way to tell is to hook it up to a scanner. If you think it is knocking now what do you think it is gonna do with that 3.4" your going to throw on there? Put some higher octane, Autolite 605 spark plugs and a cooler temp thermostat just to help things out a little if your paranoid. Have your friend that can tune...tune it on the stock pulley and up the timing till it starts to knock then back it down a degree or two...then it'll run good.
